I have a new job!

Im very excited about going to work for Apple. I will be starting out in Deer Park Illinois starting this coming Monday.



Its a very small store which will definitely take some getting used to for me. But thats about the only negative I see so far

Lets talk positives!

1. Apple....You know they make the IPOD (Cmon you knew that).
2. No Dress Clothes!!!
3. No Dress Shoes!!!
4. No Windows Operating System Issues
5. Opportunity to GROW!!!!!

I will be working in Inventory Control to start which is something I really enjoy.

This is a very funny movie. Im not sure how many more times I could watch it but its very funny.



The girl wearing the G string that McLovin hooks up with... Its just not fair.

i Tunes Movie Rentals Reviews

So I have been using the new Itunes Movie Rental Service and I am so far enjoying it.

As a person who owns alot of DVD's (Many only watched once or twice) I like the idea of getting the movie I want right then and there. I did the netflix thing and I really think I wasted my money overall. Many movies didn't get watched cause I was not in the mood and often I would hold onto them too long.

So here is what I have watched so far

Ocean's Thirteen
Spiderman 3
Live Free or Die Hard

So lets cover the three watched movies....



Oceans Thirteen

WHY WHY WHY!!!! A movie revisiting all of the gags and characters of the first 2 movies is not a good idea. I was bored for the most part AND CAN YOU PLEASE STOP TRYING TO CONVINCE US THAT YOU CAN OUT THINK EVERY SINGLE SCENARIO YOU WILL ENCOUNTER. I was actually hoping something would happen to them that they would have to improvise thier way through.

Nope, they simply thought of everything. Including Super Dave Osbourne!!!!



This is not a very good movie. Please dont make any more.






Spiderman 3

Strike 2 in my reviews of bad sequel of a sequel movies. Too much going on, and simply put I do not like ANY of the characters in this movie. I liked the fact that they team up at the very end to fight of Venom and Sandman but overall this is a worthless movie. The dancing number was one of the dumbest things I have seen in a long time.

This is not a very good movie. Please dont make any more.






Live Free or Die Hard

And....STRIKE 3. I actually liked how this movie started but in the end its just not even remotely believable. Now lets look past the fact that John McLain should be very very dead like 200 times over. But as audience members we cannot look much farther without saying..."WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE!"

I am only going to say this once. Hackers cannot bring down the entire countries systems (YES ALL OF THEM) Its nonsense and it made me laugh out loud that it even made it into the script. PICK ONE JACKASSESS, NOT ALL! Give us some credit why dont you....Electricity, phones, internet...MAYBE and thats a big maybe if you pick only one....

Ok now John McLain walking around on a fighter plane was just annoying

however one good thing....

This chick is hot and she beats McLain's ass!

Im gonna keep this brief...

I did not get this movie....

This does not mean I did not really enjoy the experience of watching it....

Its extremely well done, but what story is the movie actually about?

Charming Shoppes of Delaware Inc.

So my time working for Charming Shoppes is over...

I really did learn alot about myself during the past year and a half.

1. I dont like dress clothes.
2. I really dont like shaving everyday.
3. Ironing sucks and Dry Cleaning is expensive.
4. Cubicles are not cool. especially when they are drab grey.
5. Relocation to a new city by yourself is not a good idea when you are in a period of self exploration. You wont accomplish your goal without help.
6. I belong in Chicago (well the greater Chicagoland area)

I am very grateful to my teammates at CSI. I learned alot but the biggest thing I learned was that I did not belong there. It sucks to work hard for something you think you want and then realize that its just not going to work. It doesn't matter how much you put into it its just not going to happen. Fortunately I was able to carve myself out a niche to work in until I could come back to Chicago.

I guess I now know what it is like to run for President when you have no business doing that. You consume time and money and in the end you lose...badly enough to make you quit.

CLOVERFIELD

So I saw Cloverfield last night.

I really enjoyed it, I did not pay much attention to the viral campaign prior to the films release so I am left with many unanswered questions. This movie was well made and is very engaging but I do feel a bit cheated because there is so much I want to now about the creature and the situation and the movie makes no attempt to answer. I am really hoping for a strong DVD release with all of the viral marketing and background info to help fill in the blanks.

I have heard alot of complaints about this movie but watching it I did realize something fairly important. THE MOVIE IS NOT ABOUT THE MONSTER!!!!! Its about these moron people who try save their friend and what happens to them all. Yes I did find it annoying that every time they would give you a cool shot of the monster the guy holding the camcorder would look some where else BUT that is the idea. The longer you look at the monster the more you begin to question it. Less is more in this instance which makes the beginning shots of the creature all the more valuable.

The reality of the situation (word chosen carefully) is that IF a giant monster attacked ANY major US city almost everyone would die. People already have little regard for the safety of others and a situation like that would make it even worse. If you add on top of that that the military cant kill it with there VERY BIG GUNS well then you really should hope your not there when it happens.

Once again we left before the credits were over and I missed something so if you go see it for the love of god wait for the very very end.

I do recommend seeing this film in the theater if you can.

Im pulling this blog out of moth balls.

Im pretty fed up with Myspace so im not going to blog there anymore....

State of the Union
Well my last day with Charming Shoppes is 2/1/08. I dont have a job yet but I do have some very encouraging leads.

I have purchased a new phone but I will wait to give out the number till I receive it.
